We have kept our business open for customers throughout the COVID situation, making sure that people still have access to high-quality glasses and sunglasses with our usual great service. We have adapted our ways of working and have followed all the guidelines issued by the UK government so that our customers and staff are as safe as possible.
We are working hard to make sure you get your Fashion Eyewear order. Despite our best efforts, short delays may be possible due to current circumstances. We use a number of trusted couriers including DHL and Royal Mail who are continuing to work safely throughout UK lockdown measures, however, Royal Mail has had small delays due to prioritising their shipping capacity. Depending on how these couriers are operating, your delivery timings may vary a little.
If you have only ever bought your sunglasses with us this might be the time to get your prescription eyewear with us too. Once you have chosen your frames you can just add your prescription and check your pupillary distance using our online PD metre - it’s really simple to use from your laptop or mobile phone!
Our team behind the scenes are following strict hygiene protocols when making up and dispatching your order in the Fashion Eyewear HQ. We are all following guidelines around handwashing, office hygiene and remaining at home at the first sign of any symptoms. And of course, we thoroughly clean our glasses before dispatch so they arrive in pristine condition. All our staff members who can work from home are also doing that too, so sadly there aren’t too many of us in the office, but that is for the well-being of our whole team at Fashion Eyewear as well as our customers.
During this time we understand that it is not as easy to return your order to us in the normal way. That is why we have extended our returns period from 14 days to 30 days for all eyewear. Due to most opticians being closed, we are accepting prescriptions that are older than two years. We hope this makes your day a little easier!
